Camel Implementation

Integrations designed, built, and handed over properly.

We design and build Camel integrations end to end: the routes, the error handling, the tests, and the documentation your team needs to own them afterward.

Typical work

  • Protocol bridging — REST and SOAP services fronting legacy backends, file and FTP flows feeding queues, partner formats translated at the edge.
  • EIP-based routing — content-based routing, splitter/aggregator pipelines, enrichment, throttling, and resequencing, built from the standard patterns rather than bespoke glue.
  • Messaging connectivity — Kafka and JMS integration with deliberate delivery semantics: idempotent consumers where duplicates would hurt, dead letter channels with alerting, replay paths that exist before the incident.
  • Runtime fit — standalone JVMs, Spring Boot, Quarkus, or Camel K on Kubernetes, chosen to match your platform direction rather than fashion.

How we build

Routes are code, and we treat them that way: version control, mock-endpoint tests for happy and unhappy paths, configuration externalized per environment, and metrics and correlation logging wired in from the first route, not bolted on after the first outage.

Engagements run hourly, as a scoped project or as engineers embedded in your team. Either way the goal is the same: when we leave, your team understands every route we wrote — because we wrote them to be understood, and we hand them over deliberately.

Have an integration in mind? Describe it to us — systems, formats, volumes — and we will come back with an approach.
